Blissey Basic Ability Lock Tank

Blissey V is a Pokémon that can deal huge amount of damage if it has enough Energy. Thankfully, cards like Bouffalant, Hyper Potion, and Bravery Charm make it very resilient, while Mist Energy ensures it's not KO'd in one hit by an attack like Roaring Moon ex's Frenzied Gouging. This gives the deck time to accumulate Energy on a Blissey, all while healing it.

Even with Battle Compressor, Blissey is slow to ramp up, which it tries to mitigate by using disruption cards like Path to the Peak. Its need to run defensive Energy like V Guard Energy also means it cannot use all the strong Energy cards of Expanded like Powerful Energy, and as you might expect from a deck stacking Special Energy on a Pokémon, it has a huge issue with Megaton Blower. All these flaws mean that Blissey is kept away from the top tiers, but it is a unique archetype that might interest you if you're looking for tanky Pokémon.
