Mew VMAX Tier 2 Vmax Ability Lock

Mew VMAX used to be one of these archetypes that never seemed to leave. No matter how many counters were printed, it always found a way to adapt to them and keep shining. This resilience is now at work in Expanded. While Mew VMAX is by no means a top tier archetype, it benefits from arguably the strongest draw engine in the game (Genesect V), at the cost of having to play mostly Fusion Strike Pokémon, which limits its options. With Double Colorless Energy, Mew VMAX can copy Techno Blast for 210 damage, which is solid, but not overwhelming.

Still, while it is doomed to be slowly devoured by power creep, Mew VMAX is still, in the hands of a strong player, a surprisingly effective archetype.
