ADP Basic Aggro

Arceus & Dialga & Palkia-GX, known as ADP, was one of the most hated cards of all time. Its unique attack, Altered Creation GX, defined the meta for a while by making one-Prize decks basically unplayable. In Expanded, it gets Double Dragon Energy to use that attack on turn 1 very reliably.

However, ADP is not as fearsome as you might expect, for a few reasons. First, Altered Creation GX gets hard countered by Pokémon Ranger, so it's only worth using that attack if the opponent doesn't play it. Also, any deck that can use Altered Creation GX on turn 1 can usually go for another attack that might take KOs, so putting a three-Prize Pokémon in play might not be the best choice.

Despite that, ADP maintains a small presence in the format, usually as an option in aggro decks that can also play without it.
